Construction and Development
Park Tower took nearly four years to construct between its groundbreaking ceremony held October 1983 through completion in early August of ’88. Initially conceived with around 400 residences, the building has a total count exceeding that when considering condominium units plus hotel rooms it houses today.
Its construction also sparked debates regarding urban density and air rights. Developers Hines Interests Limited Partnership partnered closely with Reichmann Group who had secured $170 million in construction financing prior to their partnering deal.
